Medium packs - Believe chewable tablets

After slimming surgery, your calcium intake is also reduced. Elan has developed Calcium vital tablets and Calcium Chew chewable tablets especially for people who have undergone weight-loss surgery, to supplement your daily requirement. Elan's calcium products contain calcium citrate, as this form of calcium is well absorbed by your body. In addition, vitamin D3 has been added to Elan's calcium products, as it increases calcium absorption in your bones. Calcium and vitamin D3 help give you strong bones and teeth.

 

Calcium is not included in Elan's WLS supplements (Compass, Believe and Supreme products) because calcium interferes with iron absorption. If you also use Elan's Compass, Believe or Supreme products, do not take Elan's calcium products at the same time as your Compass, Believe or Supreme products. There should be at least 2 hours between the intake of these supplements, so that your body has enough time to absorb the iron properly. 

 

Elan's medium packs are based on a daily dose of 500 mg of calcium, so you will need to take 2 Calcium vital tablets or 1 Calcium Chew chewable tablets a day.
