250 mg of calcium, so you will need to take 1
Calcium vital tablet a day.
Elan's calcium products contain calcium citrate, as this form of calcium is well absorbed by your body. Vitamin D3 has also been added to Elan's calcium products, as it increases calcium absorption in your bones. Calcium and vitamin D3 help give you strong bones and teeth.
Calcium is not included in Elan's WLS supplements (
Compass,
Believe or
Supreme products) because calcium interferes with iron absorption. If you also use Elan's Compass, Believe or Supreme products, do not take Elan's calcium products at the same time as your Compass, Believe or Supreme products. There should be at least
2 hours between the intake of these supplements, so that your body has enough time to absorb the iron properly.
